Buck-I-Serv Networking event in Detroit

A group of Ohio State students from Buck-I-Serv will be here on a service trip from March 11-18th. While they’re here they will be performing important service at Focus Hope and the students would also like to take some time to connect with area alumni.

Please join us on March 13th at 6:30pm PizzaPapalis in Greektown to welcome the students to Detroit during their visit.  If you are interested in attending, please contact Thomas Kyer at  t.kyer17@gmail.com

Focus Hope: DETROIT, MI  This trip to Detroit Michigan  will work with Focus Hope. In  1968, Father William Cunningham (1930–1997) and Eleanor Josaitis (1931-2011) co-founded Focus: HOPE, an  organization dedicated to intelligent and practical solutions to the problems of hunger, economic disparity, inadequate  education, and racial divisiveness. The organization has become a nationally renowned civil and human rights organization diligently working to bridge the racial divide in southeast Michigan through their food program, career training  programs, and their HOPE Village Initiative. Participants on this trip will work with the food program and with the adult education program.
