Tour the Cathedral Church of St. Paul

May 20, 2019 @ 5:30 pm

Experience one of the architectural, artistic, and faith-based treasures of Detroit, when you tour the Cathedral Church of St. Paul.  Famed US architect, Ralph Adams Cram designed the limestone gothic edifice.  Take in the stunning wood carving by Johannes Kirchmeier at the high altar as well as stained glass, some of which dates back to the 15th century.  All of this plus Pewabic tile flooring and tapestries from the late 16th century are but a few of the artistic elements contained within the cathedral walls.
