Notre Dame Head Coach Marcus Freeman is a former Buckeye from 2004 to 2008, with coaching stints at Kent State, Purdue, and Cincinnati. He has Al Golden as his Defensive Coordinator, a highly experienced coaching career and he has recently added former Buckeye James Laurinaitis to his coaching staff also. In a recent press conference, Coach Freeman described his program as “offensive line and defensive line lead” and he wanted to instill a “QB running game”. He said 2nd year Tyler Buckner would be the starting quarterback and Drew Pine would be also playing as backup to Tyler. The Irish do have their challenges, Captain Avery Davis suffered an ACL injury in his other leg as he has recently recovered from an ACL injury. This is the 7th meeting of Ohio State versus ND and we have won the last 4 meetings. If you’re in the Detroit area, please visit us at Buffalo Wild Wings in downtown Detroit!
